The inaugural meeting of the Ibadan chapter of the ACM, was held in University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. In attendance were intellectuals from various computer related disciplines. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mrs. Y. Folajimi, a lecturer of the Computer Science department, University of Ibadan.
